Hedge Fund Association launches new Canadian chapter.

March 6, 2002: The Hedge Fund Association, an international organization aimed at widening acceptance and awareness of hedge funds, has launched its Canadian Chapter. The new chapter will give hedge fund investors, managers and service providers in Canada a forum to educate and help standardize the industry in Canada. The founding president of the Canadian Chapter will be Sergio Simone, principal of RJS Private Wealth Management in Toronto, and a director of the HFA. The Canadian Chapter will have its own five-member advisory board that develops agendas for the HFA to pursue particular to the chapter's needs.
