Hedge fund groups ready to accept intervention

The hedge fund industry in the US is likely to accept new government regulations and inspections.

Prominent frauds in the US have broken the confidence of the groups and individuals who invested in some of the more esoteric hedge funds.

The industry has recently shown willingness to consider some of the new rules mooted by Congress, including periodic examination and the creation of a regulator to ask questions of the hedge funds about their investments and methods.
