BluMont unveils BluMont Equity Advantage Fund

BluMont Capital today announced the launch of BluMont Equity Advantage Fund. The fund offers investors a unique opportunity to invest in funds managed by some of Canada’s top equity managers, including Salida Capital.

The primary objective of the fund is to maximize long-term total return while maintaining a low correlation to the TSX.

The fund’s sub-advisors will be:

• Salida Capital Corp. - BTR Global Arbitrage Fund, managed by Brad White;
• Vertex One Asset Management Inc. - Vertex Fund, managed by John Thiessen;
• BluMont Capital Corp. - BluMont Hirsch Long/Short, managed by Veronika Hirsch;
• Hillsdale Investment Management Inc. - Hillsdale Canadian Long/Short Fund, managed by Chris Gurthrie and Arun Kaul.

The four sub-advisors have extraordinary track records and have historically only been available on a private placement basis.
